What's Covered: If any original component shows signs of workmanship defects during the warranty period outside of general wear and tear, we've got you covered. Our commitment is to repair or replace the faulty parts, assuring that your ride is always in top condition.

Exclusions: It's important to note that our warranty won't cover standard wear and tear, punctured tyres, mishaps due to improper assembly, or issues arising from accidents, insufficient maintenance, or the use of unauthorized parts or accessories. We're unable to cover damage due to misuse, abuse, or modifications to the frame or components.

What You Need to Do: In the rare event of a potential warranty claim, please reach out to us first. Share a detailed report of the issue and wait for our written confirmation before proceeding with any repairs. It's crucial to get our go-ahead to ensure you're eligible for reimbursement.

What to Avoid: The warranty won't cover using the bike for activities beyond standard use, such as commercial purposes or other mishaps... we know you crazy cats like to get a bit wild!

Dealing with Water: While our bikes are water resistant, we advise keeping them out of the rain and avoiding moisture where possible. Please avoid submerging them in water or riding during heavy rain. The warranty doesn't cover damage due to liquid penetration.

Charging: Lithium batteries should not be put on charge directly after use or if they have been stored in a warm environment. Please ensure your battery is cool before putting on charge.

Assembly and Adjustments: Proper assembly is vital. If you need to adjust parts after shipment, we'll guide you through it. Yet, if you opt for a third-party technician to handle assembly or adjustments, those costs won't fall under our warranty.

Warranty Voided: We take our warranty seriously. To maintain your safety and uphold our quality standards, Ventura Electric will void any product warranty and will not be held responsible for issues from modifications or aftermarket replacement parts.

Return Policy

If you find yourself unsatisfied with the product or have simply had a change of heart, you have a 14-day window from the date of product receipt to initiate a return. We will provide a full refund as long as there are no signs of usage on the product, such as scratches, dents, or any other noticeable wear and tear.

It is your responsibility to ensure proper repackaging of the product in its original packaging. In cases where the original packaging is unavailable, a fee of $100 will be charged to cover the cost of resending the necessary packaging materials. Should the product sustain damage during the return process due to improper packaging, the cost of repair will be borne by the customer.

Once we have received the returned order in our warehouse, we will process the refund within 48 hours. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we aim to provide a smooth and efficient return experience.

Liability

Ventura Electric Pty Ltd assumes no responsibility beyond quality control of products and components manufactured in-house and by our suppliers, including Li-Ion battery packs, whether intended for use on streets or non-streets. All our customers are encouraged to have a complete understanding of their products, proper maintenance, and safe usage of both the products and their components. We provide literature on our website and manuals to assist in this regard, but it's important to note that unforeseen hazards may not be limited to those mentioned.

Our warranty provides the sole remedy for any defects in our products. In such cases, we will offer replacement or repair of defective parts, at our sole discretion, with components of equal or greater value. To the extent allowed by law, Ventura Electric Pty Ltd shall not be liable for property damage, personal injury, death, fire-related incidents, loss of use, loss of opportunity, loss of contract, loss of goodwill, interruption of business, loss of profits, consequential, direct, indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages, whether arising from contract, warranty, negligence, product liability, or any other legal theory. Our company will not assume liability for any accidents, misuse, abuse, loss, or injuries suffered by the rider or third parties, regardless of the cause, including ebike power, speed, improper or illegal parameter settings, component defects, or malfunctions.

This limitation of liability applies in all cases, whether it's a breach of warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other reason. By purchasing our equipment, the buyer acknowledges and agrees that Ventura Electric Pty Ltd will not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, even if the possibility of such damages has been advised.

Customers bear full responsibility and liability for all our products, including but not limited to ebikes, batteries, ebike components, brakes, bike mechanical parts and adjustments, electrical wiring, unforeseen events, safety concerns, maintenance, and services. Ebike riders are required to adhere to all traffic regulations, geographical or age restrictions, and are responsible for keeping up with rules and updates relevant to their chosen vehicle.

Customers are also fully responsible for understanding the safety considerations and regulations regarding the storage, charging, usage, and transportation of Li-Ion battery packs.

Street Legality

  • Ventura Electric Pty Ltd is committed to providing electric bikes that comply with Australian Electric Bike Regulations to the best of our knowledge. When we refer to a product as 'street legal,' we mean that, under our understanding, these electric bikes are considered bicycles and do not require insurance, license plates, or a driver's license.
  • It is essential for you to be aware of and abide by the laws in your state, territory and local area to ensure that you are riding legally and safely. Please note that being 'street legal' does not necessarily grant you permission to ride your electric bike on all bicycle pathways, as parks and trails may have their own specific restrictions regarding electric assist bikes.
  • It's important to understand that any modifications to the electric bike or conversion kit settings, such as upgrading components like the controller or motor, may lead to the product losing its 'street legality,' regardless of who performs the modifications. In the event of defaults or component modifications, Ventura Electric Pty Ltd takes no responsibility for any fines, damages, losses, or other consequences resulting from riding such a modified bike.
  • Please remember to exercise caution and follow local rules and regulations when riding on public roads. Ventura Electric Pty Ltd will not assume responsibility for any fines, damages, losses, or other consequences resulting from riding the bike on public roads where, according to local rules and regulations, the bike is not considered street legal or should not be ridden for any other reason."
